The Aquila Triventek solution

Manufacturing of dry-ice is basically an easy operation. The challanges start from the time of manufacturing to the time of usage. Typically only 50% of the liquid carbon dioxide (LCO2) gas is actually used.
Handling, storage and transport are the main problems since dry-ice is mostly manufactured off-site and almost immediately starts to sublime or evaporate. Once sublimation starts, the pellets begin to lose their density and therefore their power and effectiveness
The revolutionary solution developed and patented by Aquila Triventek A/S is on-site production by the new pelletizer PE80 and matched recovery unit RE80, at the point of usage, in exact quantities. Infrequent delivery of LCO2 is much more economic than frequent deliveries of dry ice.
